Post Date: September 4, 2024

Pensacola, FLA – The Florida APEX Accelerator hosted the Reverse Trade Show event during the 2024 Small Business Success Summit August 19 in Ponte Vedra.

Held at the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa, the event attracted over 160 attendees and featured participation from more than 20 government agencies and innovation hubs, creating an exciting opportunity for small businesses to connect directly with key decision-makers in government procurement. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about each agency’s procurement opportunities, present their capabilities, and establish relationships essential to securing government contracts.

“Our team is committed to helping small businesses connect with the vital resources and opportunities they need to grow their business,” said Jessica Tenney, program manager of the Florida APEX Accelerator. “This Reverse Trade Show is a testament to our dedication to empowering small businesses and helping them navigate the complexities of government contracting, and meeting with agency representatives in the same place.”

Attendees were able to find quality connections, gain actionable insights, and make valuable connections through meaningful conversations. The Reserve Trade Show also allowed small businesses to exchange ideas, share experiences, and learn more about the procurement process of each agency.

“This Reverse Trade Show helped to bring the government agencies to the small businesses,” said Tenney. “Often small businesses don’t know where to start looking for government contracting opportunities, so it is our hope that events such as this one can help our clients find the resources and connections they need to grow their businesses.”
